Parade Day in Casper Wyoming

I was shocked when we moved from Illinois to Casper Wyoming and there was no parade on the 4th of July. Well I soon discovered that each year a couple of days after the Fourth, Casper celebrates the opening of the rodeo with Parade Day.
It is great. Businesses close down and people line the street to watch the parade. Here are a view snap shots of this year’s parade. There are two slideshows, part one and part two. Hope you enjoy.
Also it should be noted that there is nothing like have a tall cool beer while watching the parade. This year we forgot to bring the beer and a friend of ours sat a couple of feet to our right. She came over and informed us that they were having a couple of beers. It should be noted that Janet does not share. We learned our lesson. - CG
PS Sorry we did not get photographs of all the participates in the parade but we had to take a break from the heat and get a tall cool one in one of the local drinking establishments.
